Ruby Grey's Smokehouse BBQ was born out of the pain I felt from losing my mother. I realized that grief is getting used to the world without her presence in it and cherishing the memories that I have of her. So the only way I knew how to deal with my loss, was to recreate the smells and sounds of her kitchen.
BBQ is my Twist on my mother's question,"Are you hungry? Come on in and let me get you something to eat." Man, I can still hear her voice.
